Unibet Sportsbook came to Indiana courtesy of a partnership between parent company Kindred Group and Caesars Entertainment. The Kindred Group announced in February 2020 that it would launch Unibet in Indiana and operate off a license held by Caesar’s Horseshoe Hammond property.
In July 2020, Unibet Sportsbook went live with mobile betting across the state. Now, customers may visit in.unibet.com to sign up for an account and place wagers from anywhere within state lines.
Now that the company is up and running, our Unibet Indiana review will take a close look at everything it has to offer. Read on for a straightforward discussion of what Unibet Indiana does well, where it can improve and how to claim one of the better welcome bonuses in the state.

A Brief Introduction to Unibet
Unibet was founded in 1997 by Anders Ström, a bettor himself who lived in London at the time and who serves as the Chairman of the Board of parent company Kindred Group to this day.
The Unibet brand focused its efforts on UK and European markets for much of its early life, and quickly expanded to become one of the region’s more prominent online betting operators. By 2002, the company had more than 200,000 registered users from 80+ countries and by 2016, its userbase exceeded 1,000,000.
Unibet came to the US in 2019, where it launched in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. From there, Unibet turned its attention to Indiana and Iowa via partnerships with local casino operators in each state. Today, Unibet serves more than 26 million customers from around the world and holds gaming licenses in numerous jurisdictions, both domestic and abroad.
Unibet Indiana Bonus
The Unibet Indiana bonus offers all new customers three free $10 bets just for signing up and then a risk-free first bet worth up to $250.
No-Deposit Bonus: $30 in Free Bets
All new users qualify for three free $10 bets after signing up for an account with no deposit necessary. After registering, new customers will find three free bets waiting in their betting slips that may be used as follows:
- $10 free bet on any market
- $10 free to place an in-play bet
- $10 free to place a 3-leg or higher parlay
This welcome offer comes with no wagering requirements and any winnings may be cashed out immediately. The free bet amounts will not be included in any winnings, but players are welcome to keep anything won with their free bets.
Risk Free Bet: Up to $250 Refunded
New customers who go on to make a deposit will have their first five wagers refunded with up to $50 in free bets each for a total of $250 in potential refunds.
The most important thing to note with this offer is that their first bet must have odds of -115 or greater. This means wagers placed at odds of -115, +110, +220 and so on qualify to receive a refund if they lose. A first wager placed at odds of -120, -200 and so on would not qualify for a refund.
Unibet Sportsbook offers a smattering of other promos from time to time but at a lower frequency than some of the competition. Two longstanding promotions Unibet has run over recent months offer customers enhanced parlay payouts and odds boosts:
- Weekly Parlay Boost: Sports fans who enjoy parlays will find this weekly promotion enticing as it offers a profit boost of 10% on 3-leg parlays, 20% on 4-leg parlays and 30% on 5-leg parlays for significantly larger payouts on winning parlays. Each selection must have odds of -500 or greater to qualify and the maximum stake is $25. Maximum extra winnings are capped at $5,000.
- Weekly Profit Boost: Each week, Unibet Sportsbook selects certain events or entire leagues upon which customers may wager to get enhanced payouts as high as 20% extra on winning wagers. For example, at the time of this review, Unibet offered a 20% boost on all MLS wagers, 15% extra on all golf wagers related to the Memorial Tournament and 10% on all UFC wagers. As of this review, the max bet was capped at $50 and extra winnings with the profit boosts were capped at $50,000.
Unibet Indiana Mobile App
Unibet Sportsbook can be accessed via any desktop or mobile device at Unibet.com, but customers may also download native apps for iOS and Android. In both cases, the Unibet mobile app uses standard navigation practices to facilitate easy browsing of leagues, lines, promotions and other tools.
Like most sportsbooks, the Unibet app home screen provides a list of featured wagers, upcoming games and popular bets so users can jump right in. A dropdown navigation menu allows users to browse a full list of sports along with a listing of major events and leagues that are in progress or will be in progress soon.
Stats and other handicapping information are integrated into the mobile app and displayed alongside the odds when visiting any game’s event page. For example, customers may visit an in-play betting event to place wagers, watch a play-by-play text feed or, in some cases, watch a digital depiction of the game as it is happening in real time.

Desktop and mobile users may also head to Unibet.com to sign up and place wagers through the website with no download required. Wagering through the Unibet website is nearly the same as wagering through the app aside from desktop users having much more screen real estate to work with.
Visitors may click or tap on the odds next to any event to add that wager to the betting slip, which maintains a running list of selected wagers. Customers may then use the betting slip to adjust the amount wagered, review the payout odds and either confirm each wager or build custom parlays.
In-play betting is especially convenient via desktop as customers can view a greater number of odds and monitor any streams provided for that event all at once on a single screen. All in-play betting features found on the app (stats, play-by-play data, etc.) offered through the app are also available via desktop.
Types of Wagers Offered
Unibet boasts a rich wager catalog for events big and small, with the total number of betting markets occasionally exceeding 300 for important games. That is significantly more than most Indiana sportsbooks and places Unibet firmly near the top of the market in terms of the types of wagers offered.
The variety is extensive – almost to the point of feeling overwhelming but all wagers are categorized on the event page itself for easier browsing. Clicking or tapping the name of any event will bring users to a page for that game where wagers are placed under categories such as totals, alternative lines, player totals, first point scorer, team props, game props, player props and more.

Unibet provides in-play betting for dozens of events each day on average spanning a full range of college and professional sports. Live betting is a strong point in favor of Unibet due partially to its busy in-play calendar and partially to the wide range of wagers offered for each market.
During games, customers can bet on full time results from whistle to whistle with odds updated in real time in addition to half time results, quarter results, props, the next point to be scored and more.
Some events also offer “action betting” markets that settle within 60 seconds. These work like other in-play wagers except the action occurs at a much higher pace for short-term events with winnings paid instantly. For example, action betting markets allow customers to wager on the next point in tennis, next scoring method in a basketball game and how the current batter will do in a baseball game.
Bigger events are covered with live data feeds that call the action play by play alongside visual trackers that show what’s happening on the field or court in real time. Unibet offers live video streaming in some other markets but does not yet offer such capabilities here in the US market – this is something we’ll be watching closely as Unibet establishes itself in the Hoosier State.

Unibet Indiana Deposit Methods
Regulations approved by the Indiana Gaming Commission allow licensed sports betting providers to accept deposits through a variety of standard methods. Customers may fund their accounts through any of the methods listed below. Unibet accepts a minimum deposit of $10.
Credit and Debit Card
Unibet accepts debit and credit card deposits via Mastercard and Visa.
Credit and debit card deposits are convenient, but customers should note that some banks treat credit card deposits to online sportsbooks as cash advances and may charge additional fees. Unibet itself never charges fees for credit/debit card deposits.
Customers with physical cash to spend can select PayNearMe to choose an amount to deposit and generate a pay slip that can be taken to nearby 7-Eleven, Family Dollar or CVS to pay with cash.
Unibet also accepts deposits via personal PayPal accounts. However, customers may only deposit PayPal balances that are linked to an active bank account. PayPal policies do not allow customers to send funds that derive from credit or debit cards to online gambling or sports betting sites.
E-Check deposits send money directly from the customer’s checking or savings account to Unibet. This deposit requires a US bank account.
Unibet Prepaid Play+ Card
The Unibet-branded prepaid card by Play+ is one of the more versatile and convenient deposit methods once it has been set up. Customers can sign up for an account through Unibet (select Play+ in the cashier area) to make an instant online deposit that same day. Additionally, an actual card will be mailed to the address on file. This card is linked to the customer’s Play+ account and can be used to make purchases or withdraw cash from ATMs.
