The first mobile sportsbooks launched last month in Indiana and are already having an outsized impact on sports betting revenue.
The Indiana Gaming Commission released its October gaming revenue report this morning, and the figures show significant month-over-month growth bolstered by the launch of mobile betting.
First Month’s Mobile Sports Betting Revenue Reported
Three mobile sportsbooks were active in Indiana in October. DraftKings and BetRivers had nearly a whole month to acquire customers and collect wagers having launched on October 3rd while FanDuel had less time having launched October 21st.
Still, all three mobile sportsbooks put up impressive first month numbers. DraftKings’s mobile sportsbook alone beat every other mobile and retail provider in the state for total betting handle.
